1. Make your card

Pick a pose, snap one selfie, type your name. We paint a new portrait of you doing the pose, and write your tagline, three stats and what you're notorious for. Change any of it later. About a minute, free.

2. Mug your friends, in person

• Printed card. Scan the QR on the back of their card with the Mug camera (or your phone's camera). Every printed card has its own number and works once. Comes with a scratch-off. A new print of someone (their next crew box, a new series) is a new card to mug, with one scratch per person every 30 days.
• Phone to phone. No cards yet? They open “Mug me” and you scan their screen. It's made for face to face: the code changes every 20 seconds, expires in 30 seconds and works once. No scratch-off.
• Mutuals. When you've mugged each other, you both get 1 free card.
• Sample cards are practice: scan one to see how it feels. Nothing is kept.

3. The Scratch

Every printed card you mug comes with a scratch-off. The odds, plainly:

• Glow-Up A new finish for your card. 1 in 2.
• On the House 1–3 free cards on your next pack. 1 in 5.
• Next Round Nothing this time. 3 in 10.

Your first scratch is always a Glow-Up, and so is every foil chase card you mug. A Glow-Up is always a finish you don't have yet, and an Exclusive or better is guaranteed within 8 Glow-Ups. Free cards ride along with your next pack, up to 10 per pack. Scratches can't be bought.

4. Pins: from Plus-One to Icon

Your pin counts your people: everyone you've mugged and everyone who's mugged you. It sits on your card in the app, gets a new material at every step. Crew, VIP and Legend each come with a finish the first time you reach them. Printed cards carry the Mugmark instead, so paper never goes stale.

5. Crews

A crew is a party or a friend group on one wall. The host shares one link; everyone makes a card and joins. The wall shows how many mugs the room has made against a party goal, and saves a crew picture for the morning after. The host can print everyone in one box: 10 cards of each person, $14.99 a head with shipping included, 5 people or more.

6. Printing

12 pt stock, rounded corners, tuck box, and one card in five is a holo foil chase copy (mugging one is a guaranteed Glow-Up). $39.99 for 36, $54.99 for 54, plus $4.99 tracked US shipping (crew boxes ship free).
